SalsaLoan: compare loan options from partner lenders

I’d like to borrow for and pay it back over . My credit is .

Change any underlined part to see an estimate. When you’re ready, SalsaLoan matches your request with partner lenders whose criteria fit, so you compare real options instead of filling out the same form five times.

  • Free for borrowers
  • Soft credit check to see options
  • No obligation to accept an offer

From one request to real offers

You tell us once. We do the comparing. The lender you choose makes the final call.

  1. Tell us what you need

Share the amount, what it’s for, and a few details about your income and credit. It takes a few minutes.

  2. See lenders that fit

We compare your request with our partner lenders’ criteria and show the ones likely to consider you, with estimated rates and terms.

  3. Choose and apply

Pick the option you like and finish with that lender. They verify your details, make the decision, and send the funds.

What you can borrow for

Typical ranges across the lending market. Your amount, rate, and term depend on the lender and your profile.

Clear about what we do

Loan shopping is confusing enough. Here is exactly where SalsaLoan fits.

We are

  • A loan-matching service. We compare your request with partner lenders and introduce you to the ones that fit.
  • Paid by our partners. Lenders compensate us, so there’s no charge to you for using SalsaLoan.
  • Careful with your data. We share it only as needed to show you options and as described in our Privacy Policy.

We aren’t

  • A lender. We don’t make credit decisions, set rates, or fund loans.
  • A guarantee. Not every request will be matched, and not everyone who is matched will be approved.
  • A substitute for advice. For tax, legal, or financial planning, talk to a licensed professional.

Built with lenders, brokers, and employers

SalsaLoan is a B2B platform first. We work with partners who want to put better loan options in front of the right people.

Lenders

Receive applicants who match your credit box, with the fields you need to decide quickly. You set the criteria, states, and volume.

Brokers and advisors

Refer clients who need financing and give them one place to compare offers from multiple lenders.

Employers

Offer your team a transparent way to compare loans as part of a financial wellness benefit, without adding work for HR.

Common questions

Short answers to what people ask before they start.

See all questions

Will checking my options affect my credit score?

No. Seeing your options uses a soft credit inquiry, which only you can see and which doesn’t affect your score. If you decide to apply with a lender, that lender will usually run a hard inquiry, which can.

Is SalsaLoan a lender?

No. SalsaLoan is a loan-matching service. We connect you with partner lenders, and the lender you choose reviews your application, makes the credit decision, and funds the loan.

How does SalsaLoan make money?

Partner lenders pay us when we refer applicants or when loans fund. That compensation can affect which lenders appear and in what order. Using SalsaLoan is free for borrowers. Details are in our Advertiser Disclosure.

How fast can I get the money?

It depends on the lender and the loan. Many personal loan lenders fund within a few business days of approval. Business and SBA loans usually take longer because they need more documents.

How SalsaLoan works

One request, several lenders, and a clear picture of what each one might offer. Here’s what happens at every step, and what happens to your information along the way.

For borrowers

  1. Send your request

Tell us how much you want to borrow, what it’s for, and some basic details about you, your income, and your housing payment. Business owners add time in business and annual revenue. We ask for your consent before any credit information is requested.

  2. We run a soft check

With your permission, we or our partners may request a soft credit report. Soft inquiries are visible only to you and don’t affect your credit score.

  3. We match you with lenders

We compare your profile with each partner’s lending criteria, such as amount ranges, credit tiers, states served, and income requirements, and show the lenders likely to consider you.

  4. You compare and choose

Review estimated APR, term, monthly payment, and fees side by side. You’re never obligated to accept. If you continue, you finish the application directly with that lender, who runs a hard inquiry, verifies your information, and makes the final decision.

What happens to your information

We use what you share to find lenders that fit and to prevent fraud. We share it with the partner lenders needed to show you options and with service providers who help us run the platform, under contracts that limit how they use it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains the details and your choices.

How we’re paid

Partner lenders pay SalsaLoan when we refer applicants or when loans fund. That compensation can affect which lenders appear and the order they appear in. It is never charged to you.

Lenders set their own rates and terms. Read our Advertiser Disclosure for more.

How to read a loan offer

When two offers look similar, these are the details that separate them.

APR
The yearly cost of borrowing, including interest and certain fees. It’s the best single number for comparing offers.
Origination fee
A one-time fee some lenders charge, usually a percentage of the loan and often deducted before you receive the money.
Term
How long you have to repay. A longer term lowers the monthly payment but raises the total interest you pay.
Prepayment penalty
A fee for paying the loan off early. Many personal loans don’t have one, but check before you sign.
Total cost
Everything you’ll pay over the life of the loan. Compare this when the monthly payments look close.
Fixed or variable
A fixed rate stays the same for the whole loan. A variable rate can change, and so can your payment.

Loan types we match

The ranges below reflect what’s typical across our partners and the wider market. Every lender sets its own limits, rates, fees, and eligibility rules.

Personal loans

Personal loan

A fixed amount with a fixed payment and a set end date. Use it for almost anything: a move, a medical bill, a wedding, or a gap between paychecks that isn’t going away on its own.

Typical amount
$1,000 to $100,000
Typical term
12 to 84 months
Lenders look at
Credit history, income, and debt-to-income ratio
Good to know
Some lenders charge an origination fee that comes out of the loan amount.

Debt consolidation

Combine several balances, usually credit cards, into one loan with one payment. It helps most when the new APR is lower than the average rate you pay today.

Typical amount
$2,000 to $100,000
Typical term
24 to 84 months
Lenders look at
Credit history, debt-to-income ratio, and the balances you’re consolidating
Good to know
Some lenders pay your creditors directly, which keeps the plan on track.

Home improvement

An unsecured loan for repairs, remodels, or upgrades. You don’t need home equity, and there’s no lien on your house.

Typical amount
$2,500 to $100,000
Typical term
24 to 144 months
Lenders look at
Credit history, income, and the project amount
Good to know
For very large projects, a home equity loan may cost less. We don’t currently match home equity products.

Auto refinance

Replace your current car loan with a new one, to lower your rate, change your payment, or remove a co-borrower.

Typical amount
$5,000 to $100,000
Typical term
24 to 84 months
Lenders look at
Vehicle age and mileage, loan-to-value, and credit history
Good to know
Your car secures the loan. A longer term can lower the payment but raise total interest.

Business loans

Term loan

A lump sum you repay on a fixed schedule. Common uses are expansion, hiring, inventory, and marketing.

Typical amount
$10,000 to $500,000
Typical term
6 to 60 months
Lenders look at
Time in business, annual revenue, cash flow, and business and personal credit
Good to know
Many lenders ask for recent bank statements and a personal guarantee.

Business line of credit

A credit limit you can draw on as needed. You pay interest only on what you use, and the limit refills as you repay.

Typical amount
$5,000 to $250,000
Typical term
Revolving, with draws repaid over 6 to 24 months
Lenders look at
Revenue, cash flow, and time in business
Good to know
Some lines charge a draw fee or a monthly maintenance fee.

Equipment financing

Buy vehicles, machinery, or technology, with the equipment itself serving as collateral.

Typical amount
$5,000 to $2,000,000
Typical term
12 to 84 months, often matched to the equipment’s useful life
Lenders look at
Equipment type and value, time in business, and credit
Good to know
Because the equipment secures the loan, approval can be easier than for unsecured credit.

SBA 7(a) loan

Loans made by approved lenders and partly guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration, with longer terms than most business loans.

Typical amount
Up to $5,000,000
Typical term
Up to 10 years for working capital and equipment, up to 25 years for real estate
Lenders look at
Time in business, cash flow, credit, and collateral
Good to know
Expect more paperwork and a longer approval process, often several weeks.

We don’t match payday loans or car title loans. If you’re in a financial emergency, a nonprofit credit counselor can help you review your options at no or low cost.

Applicants matched to your credit box

How onboarding works

Most lender partnerships follow the same path from first call to full volume.

  1. Intro call

We learn about your products, markets, and goals.

  2. Due diligence

Both sides review licensing, compliance, and data security.

  3. Criteria and integration

We configure your credit box and connect delivery.

Ask about referral partnerships

For employers

Help employees borrow on better terms when they need to. We provide a co-branded way for your team to compare loans, plain-language education on credit, and no extra work for HR. Employee data is never shared with you.

Ask about employer programs

Compliance is part of the product

Borrowers trust us with sensitive information. Partners trust us with their brand. Both depend on doing this carefully.

Licensed partners only

Every lender partner must hold the licenses its products require in the states where it lends.

Consumer protection built in

We design our flows around fair lending, UDAAP, FCRA, GLBA, TCPA, and E-SIGN requirements, and we review partner disclosures before they reach consumers.

Data minimization

We share only the fields a partner needs, over encrypted connections, under written data-protection terms.

No predatory products

We don’t match payday or car title loans, and we expect partners to present costs clearly.

Let’s talk about fit.

Tell us about your products and the borrowers you want to reach. We’ll set up an intro call.

About SalsaLoan

We started SalsaLoan because shopping for a loan shouldn’t mean filling out the same form five times and hoping for the best.

Our job is to make the loan market easier to read, for the people borrowing and the lenders serving them.

Most borrowers only see the lenders that happen to advertise to them. Most lenders spend heavily to reach people who were never going to qualify. Both sides lose time and money.

SalsaLoan sits in the middle. We learn what each partner lender is looking for, learn what each borrower needs, and make introductions only where there’s a real fit. Borrowers get fewer, better options. Lenders get applicants who match their criteria.

We’re a small team based in Brickell, Miami, working with partners across the United States.

What we believe

Clarity over cleverness

We explain costs in plain language and show the numbers that matter, even when they’re not the flattering ones.

Your time is worth something

One request should do the work of many. We ask only for what lenders actually need.

A good match beats more matches

We would rather show you two lenders likely to say yes than ten that probably won’t.

Compliance is part of the product

Consent, data security, and fair treatment are designed in from the start, not added at the end.

Frequently asked questions

Answers for borrowers, business owners, and partners. Can’t find what you need? Email info@salsaloan.com.

For borrowers

Is SalsaLoan a lender?

No. SalsaLoan is a loan-matching service. We don’t make credit decisions, set rates, or fund loans. The lender you choose reviews your application, decides whether to approve it, and sends the money.

Does it cost anything to use SalsaLoan?

No. SalsaLoan is free for borrowers. Our partner lenders pay us, and lenders may charge their own fees, such as an origination fee, which they must disclose before you accept.

Will checking my options affect my credit score?

No. Seeing your options uses a soft credit inquiry, which doesn’t affect your score and isn’t visible to other lenders. If you choose to apply with a lender, that lender will usually run a hard inquiry, which can lower your score by a few points for a while.

What do I need to get started?

For a personal loan: your name, contact details, date of birth, address, income, employment, housing payment, and how much you want to borrow and why. For a business loan: your business name, time in business, annual revenue, and industry, plus details about the owner. Lenders may ask for documents like pay stubs or bank statements later.

How fast can I get the money?

It depends on the lender and the loan. Many personal loan lenders fund within one to three business days after approval. Business loans can take longer, and SBA loans often take several weeks.

What if I’m not matched with any lenders?

We’ll tell you. Common reasons include the amount requested, credit history, income, or the state you live in. It can help to request a smaller amount, add a co-borrower where lenders allow it, or pay down existing balances before trying again. A nonprofit credit counselor can also help you plan.

Can I apply with a co-borrower?

Some partner lenders accept joint applications, which can improve your chances or your rate. Mention a co-borrower in your request and we’ll look for lenders that allow it.

Are loans available in every state?

Availability depends on each lender’s licenses and the laws of your state. Some loan types and amounts aren’t offered everywhere. We only show you lenders that serve your state.

Am I required to accept an offer?

No. Comparing options creates no obligation. You decide whether to apply, and you can stop at any point before signing a loan agreement with a lender.

Credit and privacy

Who sees my information?

The partner lenders needed to show you options, and service providers who help us operate the platform, like hosting and email providers. We don’t share your information with lenders you haven’t been matched with. Our Privacy Policy lists every category.

How do you protect my data?

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and service providers must meet written security requirements. Please don’t email your Social Security number or bank account numbers; we’ll never ask for them by email.

Can I ask you to delete my information?

Yes. Email info@salsaloan.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We’ll verify your identity and delete what we’re not legally required to keep. Lenders you already applied with hold their own records under their own policies.

Will lenders call or text me?

Only if you agree to it when you submit a request. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, or ask us or the lender to stop calling.

For partners

What kinds of lenders do you work with?

Licensed consumer and commercial lenders, including banks, credit unions, and online lenders, offering personal loans, auto refinance, and small business credit.

How do I become a partner?

Email info@salsaloan.com with the subject “Partnership inquiry,” or use the contact form. We’ll schedule an intro call, then move through due diligence, integration, and a pilot.

Do you work with brokers and financial advisors?

Yes. Referral partners can send clients to SalsaLoan to compare offers. Ask us about referral terms.

How are referrals delivered?

Through an API integration or scheduled secure delivery, depending on your setup. Every referral includes a record of the applicant’s consent.
